Are we heading towards the end of neoliberalism? Neoliberalism - rule by kleptocracy and fake democracy - is entrenched throughout the global economy.
Even so, the recent protests across Europe give us some hope for change, Students in France protesting about crumbling schools helped to ignite the 'rebellion' that is happening. The protests spread to Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal.

In Serbia Vucic's 14 year reign was ended by a student led movement bringing hope of real change. The Independent reported:
- "Serbia's long-standing leader Aleksandar Vucic has conceded defeat in the nation's snap parliamentary election, marking the end of his 14-year reign following a decisive victory by a broad, student-led opposition movement."
In other news Lula won in Brazil and Netanyahu failed to win in Israel. Both good results!
Now for the big news! The Democrats won both the House and the Senate in yesterday's mid term elections much to the chagrin of Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters! Elon Musk wasn't very happy either 😂. How much can we expect from the Dems? Impeachment of Trump would be great but will it happen?
All of this is good but let's not get carried away. We still have a very steep hill to climb and recent events have given us more hope. We have to remain positive, get together, organise and keep up the fight!
